We booked Susan for our wedding on 11/08/24 at the Number 10 Hotel.

From the very first contact everything was so easy and professional. Nothing was an issue and Susan was so helpful with vows and what to add into our ceremony.

On the day we had a nice surprise when both Gerrie & Susan arrived. We had a very lovely, personal ceremony which both Gerrie & Susan split between them to make it very special. There were a few jokes and lovely comments which made the whole ceremony less stressful. I would highly recommend both of them. Thank you so much Gerrie & Susan 😘😘

Susan was the most lively, warm & welcoming celebrant we could ever have wished for. From our very first introduction we felt comfortable and relaxed in a way that we hadn’t with any of the other celebrants we’d talked to. She was brilliant at guiding us through the preparation of our ceremony, teasing out our preferences and adapting to the style of ceremony we wanted. We never once felt ill at ease.

On the day, Susan was a miracle! It was wonderful to have such a calm and experienced person there to reassure us both. She was happy to make adaptations and last minute adjustments and certainly handled things much better than I would have been able to!

We had an absolutely brilliant ceremony with Susan. It was exactly the occasion we were going for and Susan captured the emotion superbly. It was sensitive and frank, humorous and dignified.

It won’t ever be enough, but thank you Susan!

Susan, I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for conducting the most joyous ceremony for my daughter Heather and daughter in law Vicky on 18th May.

Each one of our guests said it was the most meaningful, happy celebration of love they had attended, and was a testament to how this world should be. My best friend said it was a privilege to be there to witness and be a part of it.

You made the ceremony so personal for Vicky and Heather; your positivity and humour put them at their ease and your message of the importance of the fact they are legally able to celebrate their union was so meaningful.

Susan was the celebrant at our wedding in October, and was absolutely brilliant. We wanted our ceremony to feel relaxed and fun, and Susan was amazing at helping us to create a meaningful ceremony that felt right for us, as well as helping us to get over the nerves and feel prepared for the big day! She couldn’t have done a better job at creating the friendly, loving, and happy atmosphere that we wanted. We absolutely loved working with Susan for our marriage ceremony. Throughout the planning stage, she was professional and organised: we felt like we were given lots of support and ideas whilst still being left with the freedom to set the tone and style of ceremony ourselves. The ceremony itself was warm, personal and just what we wanted: we received so many compliments on Susan’s contribution and will remember the special ceremony for the rest of our lives.

Susan officiated at our wedding in October. She delivered such a personal ceremony that reflected us, our life together and our love for each other. We wanted to do hand fasting and drinking from the Quaich and Susan incorporated these beautifuly into our ceremony. Our guests all said it was just beautiful. In fact one said it was one of the best if not ‘the best’ wedding ceremony he’s ever been to. We cannot thank Susan enough for her contribution to our day and would definitely recommend her to future couples looking for a celebrant.

Susan was wonderful from start to finish. We had such a lovely experience of planning our day with her and always felt like at the heart of her approach was understanding what we wanted and needed for our wedding ceremony. By the time she was done, there was barely a dry eye in the room, including our brother-in-law, who says this is the first time he’s ever cried at a wedding! Truly beautiful words and such a lovely presence when you’re nervous.

Where to start! Susan was fantastic, she was warm, welcoming and cared about what we wanted for the perfect wedding ceremony. She guided us in the right direction and made us feel at ease on our big day. The ceremony was amazing and very laid back which is what we wanted. Well we were married by Susan and we can not recommend her enough! She was amazing from start to finish! Evey single one of our guests loved her and loved how engaging she was! She had as all laughing all the way through! She is amazing and so glad we picked her for our special day!

We got married in April 2023, at the University of Glasgow Chapel, with Susan as our celebrant. From our first meeting with Susan, we knew we had found someone who would make our ceremony the one we had always dreamed of. Susan guided us through the possibilities for our service and helped us craft a ceremony that was both personal and joyous! Susan was also incredibly accommodating with access requirements for our ceremony, providing scripts in advance so we could share with a BSL interpreter we had hired for our D/deaf guests.

On the day of the ceremony, she calmed down the nervous groom, mingled with guests, and brought a positive energy. As bride, I will always remember her meeting me with a gorgeous smile before we went into the ceremony. Her kindness, warmth, and joy shone through during the ceremony, and all our guests commented on how engaging Susan was, embedding humour and love within space.

I cannot recommend Susan enough, she was the perfect person to guide us through our vows and into the next step of our lives together. Thank you Susan, always.
