Substack has become a popular site for longer form writing, especially with authors, so when Jane Hamilton joined us, she offered to create a platform for Celebrate People. An award-winning journalist and author, Jane used to cover the crime beat, but now she’s bringing her love, compassion and empathy to the service of the whole community.

Actor Libby MacArthur also has a colourful past, and in her article she talks about how the phrase “We’re a’ Jock Tamson’s Bairns” inspired her to become a celebrant.
