Biography
I have lived in many several different countries in this wonderful world of ours. In each of these I have embraced the different cultures and beliefs but most importantly the people. I was intrigued by to hear their stories and their journey through their lives. We are all very similar. This lets me deliver parts of ceremonies in different languages.
Often, we look for love, compassion, empathy and respect from others and we strive to return these gifts.
From welcoming a new life in to your own, to joining with another or saying farewell to those we love I will be there to help you every step of the journey. I look forward to being part of it.

“We were originally to be married in July 2020 but due to Covid we pushed to 1st May 2021 and ever process of it was made so much more relaxed thanks to Rhona.
Upon our first chat to see if Rhonawas the right fit for us she made me feel so relaxed and at ease.
All the way to the day we were in contact helping us with our forms, FaceTiming, emailing..
due to covid we weren’t able to meet in person till the day of the wedding and she couldn’t have done a better job to get to know us.

Alexander wedding
We picked rhona to be our celebrant for our wedding july 27th 2024, from the first time we spoke she made us feel at ease, from our first facetime to geting 2 meet her she was a joy, she listened to all our details we wanted to be included and she never missed anything out, on the day she made us so calm, her ceremony was very personal we had laughs we had tears, it was beautiful, we couldn’t have asked for a better one, The amout of people that have got back to us to say how beautiful it was is unbelievable

Rhona was amazing at our wedding
Rhona married us on 7th June 2024 at The Radstone Hotel. From the moment we met Rhona at the Braehead wedding show we knew that we didn’t want anyone else marrying us. I was so relieved when Rhona said she was available on our date. She was down to earth, kind, honest and she got our sense of humour. On the wedding day it felt like she was part of our family. We both felt at ease with Rhona marrying us. She answer our questions and was always in contact to reassure us. She made our day better than we could ever imagined. We would definitely recommend!! 10/10

We had an amazing one of a kind wedding and it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing humanist, Rhona McLachlan.
She was everything we could have hoped for and helped guide us in making the perfect ceremony.
You could tell she was very passionate about her job and cared about making our day exactly how we imagined.
She was fantastic at helping ease our nerves and answered any questions we had, it was out first time being married after all 😛
The way she was able to compose and tell our love story was truly remarkable and a memory that we will cherish forever.
Our day truly won’t have been the same without her!

We had the most amazing humanist for our wedding. Rhona really was great and we couldn’t have asked for a better person for the job, she was hilarious and very adaptable to meet all our requirements. Rhona was super relaxed and helped ease my nerves with her calm but funny presence.
